NYC Nonprofits is a list of several units in the Mayor’s Office that work together to strengthen NYC Nonprofits and includes City Council funding opportunities.

Philanthropy New York – a trusted community of nearly 300 grantmaking organizations that develops forward-thinking guidance and programming to address the unique challenges of philanthropy and convenes funders to strengthen ties across the sector.
New York Council of Nonprofits – develop and promote an effective and vibrant charitable nonprofit community throughout New York State. charitySTRONG is a New York state focused organization, helping nonprofits build strong and diverse boards of directors through an innovative recruitment program and easily accessible director training aimed at the highest standards of board leadership, governance, and oversight.
Corporation for National and Community Service-NY provides connections with AmeriCorps and Senior Corps in New York.
FJC Fiscal Sponsorship Program New York – Not yet received your 501(c) (3) determination letter from the IRS? Fiscal sponsorship can be a way to receive grant funding in the interim. Many community foundations also offer fiscal sponsorship, so check with your local community foundation too.
